Shane is a highly motivated and results-driven business leader with a proven track record of success in dynamic environments. With over 30 years of experience in business transformation, he has helped numerous businesses strive for success, both large and small.
Shane's career began in the Army, where he discovered his passion for leading people to success. He then started his own specialist engineering business as a sole operator, working from home, and within five years growing to have offices throughout Australia, employing over 60 people, and holding the position of the largest business of its type in Australia.
After successfully selling his engineering business, Shane transitioned to the healthcare sector, joining a dental supply and service company as Director. Under his leadership, the business was restructured, expanded geographically, staffing was refined, head office relocated, and financial performance significantly improved. The business was sold successfully in 2021, providing Shane with an opportunity to use his experience and skills to help others succeed in business.
Shane's commitment to quality systems has been recognized, and he was awarded for being the first company to achieve ISO accreditation for a sole trader.
In partnership with a software development company, Shane and his team developed and implemented a new management system which streamlines processes and improves transparency and profitability. Led by Shane, the commercialisation of this management system followed, with the software and processes being adapted to suit the needs of several businesses across various sectors.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Shane also values maintaining a good work-life balance. When he's not working, you can often find him running, hiking through national parks, or playing golf. As a volunteer business mentor for the Queensland Government, Shane has recognized the need for consultants who are focused on the client's needs and is committed to helping others strive for success in business.
Four Steps Success
Success requires planning, monitoring, and measuring progress, whether it is a small or large change. Our team uses a simple but effective approach to ensure that valuable resources in terms of time and money are not wasted. While the steps may vary depending on the client’s needs, the basic model remains the same.

Initial Consultation
In this step, we start with an onsite meeting with all relevant parties to understand the current situation, determine the objectives, and establish the consultancy parameters. Our team will prepare a brief based on the meeting, outlining the agreed-upon objectives. This brief will be shared with the client typically within 7 days of the meeting.

Achieving the Objectives
Once the plan, objectives and resources are agreed and allocated, we work with you and your team, meeting regularly ensuring the objectives are achieved. Initially, meeting at minimum weekly and reverting to monthly as the project progresses and goals are realised. This ensures that the project is driven towards reaching a successful outcome. The duration of each project will be reviewed throughout each project with any changes confirmed as the project progresses.

Planning
Once the objectives have been established, we move forward with a plan to achieve them. We prepare a simple contract outlining the obligations of all parties, objectives, fees, and timelines. Once signed, our team will develop a plan to ensure the objectives are met within a specified timeline. This may be a detailed Business Plan or a plan to achieve the objectives.

Achieved Success
Once the objectives are achieved, a final review is conducted, and the contract is concluded, success is yours.
